Подсккжите репозиторий для Debian 9 без mariaDB?

Пытаюсь установить mysql на debian 9. В пакете с зеркал яндекса идет Мария, которая не стартует.

а дефолтные репозитории чем не угодили?

MySQL был выкинут на мороз из-за причуд Oracle (с лицензией и не только).

Странно, MariaDB стартует в дистрибутиве из коробки. Если не нравится MariaDB, установить postgres.

И в зависимостях default-mysql-client, т.е. MariaDB.

CryNet, сейчас в Debian вместо mysql-client и mysql-server виртуальные пакеты (взгляните на их размер и зависимости), которые ставят соотв. пакеты MariaDB.

на домашнем сервере. И там и там - Debian 9.

Качаем пакет, который добавит нужный репозиторий:

wget https://dev.mysql.com/get/mysql-apt-config_0.8.10-1_all.deb

Устанавливаем его:
dpkg -i mysql-apt-config_0.8.10-1_all.deb

Устанавливаем mysql:

apt-get update
apt-get install mysql-server

P.S. С mariadb, кстати, проблем особых быть не должно, посмотрите логи, что именно ей не нравится, оракловский mysql может по той же причине тоже не запуститься... =)
