Как уменьшить время ожидания выбора операционной системы в начальном экране GRUB?

В /etc/default/grub установлен параметр GRUB_TIMEOUT=0, но ждать приходится 30 секунд.
Как уменьшить это время до минимума?
sudo update-grub после изменения делаю.
ОС: Linux Mint.
Диск LVM (запаролен) полностью.
