После переноса от хостера сайта OpenCart открывается только главная страница, остальные 404?

Нагуглил посты, о том, что проблема в .htaccess. но победить ни как не могу((
Работает сайт у меня через другие сервер nginx-прокси, он же обеспечивает сертификатами

Вот настройка nginx-прокси:

У тебя конфигурация nginx+FPM
а в нем не работает htaccess

nginx+FPM - так и етсь. Ну и как быть? Я htaccess удалял из корня, всё равно тоже самое.
папку cache, кстати, тоже чистил

Антон Пащенко, вы не поняли, он не поддерживается в следствие этого вам нужно
ВСЕ что в нем есть переписать в формате синтаксиса nginx ;)

Отлично, это помогло, единственное, что отмечу 2 момента:
1. У меня после внесения поправок страницы не работали при использовании nginx -s reload, а вот когда сделал /etc/init.d/nginx restart — то всё взлетело! Я ХЗ почему так, может я что-то где-то не видел, может кэши. Но я каждый раз проверял сайт в браузере после Crtl+R + Crtl+F5.
2. Из всего конфига в примере самое главное вот это:

Установите и используйте apache как backend, а nginx reverse Proxy как frontend. Или вообще один apache.

Есть такой вариант, но у меня как раз таки цель была уйти от apach'а

Очередной раз видно мало кто может дать нормальный ответ.
По факту совет Александр Карабанов вроде в тему, там есть подвох при переходе в категории магазина ответ сервера 404 но страница нормально загружается.
Перебрал все что можно было, этот баг остается в. OpenCart в конфигурации которую Nginx описывает сообщество этой CMS.
