Для margin размер в процентах всегда считается от ширины родительского блока.

The percentage is calculated with respect to the width of the generated box's containing block. Note that this is true for 'margin-top' and 'margin-bottom' as well. If the containing block's width depends on this element, then the resulting layout is undefined in CSS 2.1.

в общем нельзя transform из двух мест дергать, это так не работает
должно быть чего-то типа transform: translate(580px), scale(1.2);

если надо делить - делайте обертку, один трансформ на нее вешайте и тогда взлетит
