Почему не запускается vagrant?

Здравствуйте! Хотел установить linux на Virtual Box, но при запуске vagrant возникает вот такая ошибка: `initialize': negative string size (or size too big) (ArgumentError). Скрин прилагается. Буду очень признателен, если знающие люди подскажут в чём может быть проблема.

сергей кузьмин, не знаю на сколько читаем скрин. Это происходит при вводе команды vagrant up.

ваш Vagrantfile минимальный

config.vm.box = "ubuntu/focal64"


config.vm.network "forwarded_port", guest: 80, host: 8080






end

говорит же образ ubuntu/focal64 недоступен:

the box ubuntu/focal64 could not be found

попробуйте например

config.vm.box = 'ubuntu/xenial64'
расскажите что получилось

могу научить как кешировть локально

если прокси то скачать и запускать из файла

сергей кузьмин, в браузере ссылка открывается нормально. А подскажите как запустить из файла?

загрузите

положите например в Downloads

cd ~/Downloads/
curl -L -o focal64.box https://app.vagrantup.com/ubuntu/boxes/focal64/versions/20220324.0.0/providers/virtualbox.box

в Vagrantfile напишите (внутри итератора)

boxname = 'focal64.box'
basedir = ENV.fetch('USERPROFILE', '')
basedir = ENV.fetch('HOME', '') if basedir == ''
basedir = basedir.gsub('\\', '/')
config.vm.box_url = "file://#{basedir}/Downloads/#{boxname}"

Если убираю настройку

config.vm.box_url = "vagrant"

то выдает ошибку
