    Он смог подключиться, работал минуту и даже набрал ~100Kb трафика.

    Вы решили что система воспринимает мой адаптер как RT3070 и поэтому я написал эту модель? Нет. Вы так и не разобрались где же в этом dmesg строки, которые выделяет lsusb? Кажется, да.

    Дмитрий: модель чипа - RT2571MF, а модель устройства - RT3070 я полагаю. На самом деле у меня просто есть этот адаптер и всё. Ничего о нём не знаю кроме маркировки на чипе. Модель RT3070 предположил по внешней схожести корпуса.

    Не совсем, хотелось бы ещё подумать над трёх-канальным вариантом. То есть в обычном Jack-штекере 3 провода, конечно абсурд, просто не хочется доставать штекер из хорошей гарнитуры от Nokia, хоть у меня их штук 5.

    15432: Я USB не припаяю - контакты слишком мелкие. К тому же задача интересная, хочется решить :) Смартфон не основной - fly uno вообще древний. Просто хочется повозиться, восстановить своими руками, к тому же сервис "за спасибо" контакты не паяет.

    нет, я не хочу припаять новый Jack вместо USB, я хочу припаять контакты разъёма microUSB к контактам уже существующего в смартфоне разъёма Jack 3.5 и через него заряжать и подключать к ПК смартфон..
