Посмотрите в сторону posthtml-mixins
Либо используйте шаблонизаторы, я в свое время начал использовать pug

Попробуйте начать с posthtml.
Для него есть плагины на любой вкус.
Для ваших задач подойдут posthtml-include, posthtml-minifier или htmlnano.
Если захочется большего есть sugarml и pug парсер

Попробуйте gulp, там ничего не тормозит, и он просто выводит ошибку .on('error', console.log).
