Как исправить ошибку «cURL error 7: Failed to connect to localhost port 8888 Connection refused»?

Картинки не отображаются(будто их нет), не обрезаются , отображается везде (в медийных файлах; на странице редактирования картинки, вернее обрезания картинки)- ярлык битой ссылки.

Судя по тегу docker, вам в контейнер нужно пробросить порт 8080. В docker-compose это параметр "ports", в самом докере "-p"

Далее, писала /etc/apache2/sites-available/000-default.conf

по урлу wordpress.loc дает ошибку "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN". Я не умею с портом 8888 пробросить... не знаю, что искать, чтобы wordpress.loc открывался.

Так у вас adminer на хосте по 7080 порту доступен.

Насчет wordpress.loc вообще непонятно. Кто на этот хост так ходит?

но wordpress.loc недоступен.

я сменила порт 8080 на 8888, все такая же ошибка, вопрос обновила.
