Здравствуйте!

Почему возникает ошибка: Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function item() on null в этом коде:

$allowedAttributes = ['src', 'href'];
foreach($elements as $element) {
  for($i = $element->attributes->length; --$i >= 0;) {
    if(!in_array($element->attributes->item($i)->name, $allowedAttributes)) {
      $element->removeAttribute($element->attributes->item($i)->name);
    }
  }
}
echo $dom->saveHTML();

разве не item[$i] ?

var_dump($element->attributes) в студию. И не надо пре-декремент в условии for писать, у него для этого третья часть есть.

потому что нет объекта, это же очевидно.

$allowedAttributes = ['src', 'href'];
