И еще, в документе, который мне прислали есть ссылка на бесплатный пакет для управления этим свичем по IB:

Using iba_manage_switch included with QOFED+ 7.0.1.0.43 and later to manage the
externally managed 12200 switches
Our Host Software comes in two different packages; i.e QOFED+ or IFS.
Our QOFED+ is free to download and use. It includes OFED release version, bug,
fixes, and other tools. QOFED+ is normally installed on the Compute nodes.

Кажется ситуация прояснилась вторым ответом производителя:

If this is a 12200 switch and it did not come with a management module the management interface will physically present but not be functional. To manage the switch you will need a host software to manage the switch via an in-band infiniband connection meaning thru an infiniband connection.

Как я понял из мана subnet manager в свиче есть. А чтобы подключиться к нему, необходимо установить IFS программу от Интела. Только я не понимаю как эта прога увидит свич, если сетевая карта даже не видит соединения. Вообщем попробую установить IFS.

Спасибо зв ответ. В мане к свичу написано следующее:

1. Connect a Category 5 or 6 (Cat 5/6) Ethernet cable to one of the RJ-45 connectors on the switch. Connect the other end of the Cat 5/6 to the OOB LAN workstation.
2. Connect the switch to IB-enabled hosts using QDR QSFP IB cables.

Поэтому я и написал Ethernet. Производитель ответил следущее:

The 12200 is an un-managed switch so you will need IFS install in your host in order to manage your hardware.

Тогда странно что subnet manager не работает, нужно проверить еще раз, возможно на этом свиче его просто нет, тогда его нужно настроить на хосте.
