  • Покажет ли "нормальный" SMART SAS-диска такие программы как AIDA64, CrystalDiskInfo если его подключить в режиме HBA (JBOD) через raid-контроллер?

    smartmontools в режиме cciss впролне пробивается сквозь HPE-шные рейды, в том числе не в режиме HBA.
    На SATA-дисках выводит обычный SMART, даже если диск в рейде.
    Показывает даже больше, чем родная HPE-шная тулза
    Но выдрать SATA-подобные счетчики с SAS-диска мне не удалось.

  • Как поведет себя ubuntu server если после установки оной добавить жесткий диск и создать из них аппаратный raid массив?

    Скорее всего аппаратный рейд переразметит диски под себя и полетит вообще все что было на диске.
    Кроме того, высокий шанс что изменится UUID блочного устройства.
    Хотя все зависит от контроллера.
    Делайте изначально рейд, ставьте на него убунту а потом добавляйте винты.
