Почему компилятор не пишет, что не может найти мою библиотеку?

DEPENDPATH += $$PWD/../Core $$PWD/../clientLibQt

:-1: ошибка: cannot find -lclientLibQt

подключаемая библиотека лежит в соседней папке

Попробуй подключить через полный путь, например:
LIBS += C:/TwinCAT/AdsApi/TcAdsDll/Lib/TcAdsDll.lib
