Почему при вводе mysql –u root в консоли OpenServer не устанавливается соединение?
вместо этого выводится ОЧЕНЬ длинное сообщение по типу help или справки

-A, --no-auto-rehash
No automatic rehashing. One has to use 'rehash' to get
table and field completion. This gives a quicker start of
mysql and disables rehashing on reconnect.

Указывать надо не дефис "–", а минус "-"
