У меня ubuntu server 24.04, c последним ядром доступным в репозиториях canonical(6.11.0-21-generic), но видит как интернет-интерфейс только lo.
Подключал вай-фай адаптер который на десктоп версии работает: Realtek Semiconductor Corp. 802.11ac NIC(взято из вывода lsusb),
все равно видит только lo, команда lsusb и на сервере, и на десктопе видит(но не как интернет-интерфейс) оба адаптера(который уже был, и встроенный от интел: Intel Corp. AX211).
Странно то, что на десктопе видит всё что нужно.
NetworkManager и WpaSupplicant установлены и успешно запускаются.
Как починить?
Предположу что в Desktop-версии автоматически устанавливается пакет с драйверами(firmware), а в серверной версии драйвера нужно устанавливать в ручную.

Ну, по крайней мере сетевую карту система видит, и даже её распознает. Прочитай вот это и по этой ссылке как использовать nmcli, возможно потребуется создать интерфейсы вручную заново.
