Essays come in different types, each requiring an individual approach. A large proportion of humanities students, in the process of mastering science, have at one time written:
Literature essays;
Essays-miniature essays;
Essays (called essays) on a given theme;
Picture essays;
Description or characterisation compositions.
Narrative composition is an account of events which are revealed in a temporal sequence. It includes an introduction, plot and development, culmination, denouement and conclusion.
An essay-explanation involves stating on a piece of paper your own thoughts, conclusions relating to a particular subject. This type of essay may include a review of a book you have read.
