I’ve had layovers at many stations, but the amtrak station in indianapolis indiana stands out for its character and convenience. The station’s historic design is beautiful, yet it functions smoothly for modern travel needs. I like that it’s right in the center of the city, which makes it easy to step out for a quick bite or explore a nearby attraction if you have some time. Boarding is efficient, the waiting areas are comfortable, and the atmosphere feels safe and organized. It’s one of the more memorable stations I’ve visited.
