Запуск сервера nginx на macOS Catalina?

иду по порядку по этому мануал

brew install php@7.4
brew install nginx
brew services start nginx
localhost:8080 -> «Welcome to nginx!»
Все работает как нужно

дальше делаю папку для своего проекта
/Users/user/Sites/yeticave/index.php

правлю nginx.conf
nano /usr/local/etc/nginx/nginx.conf

в конце добавляю

Разрешаю nginx читать содержимое проекта
sudo chmod -R 755 /Users/USER/Sites/yeticave

Устанавливаю xdebug
pecl install xdebug

перезапускаю
sudo brew services restart nginx

и при при переходе localhost/index.php -> Safari Can’t Connect to the Server

что сделано не так?

В конфиге:
root /Users/zaza/Sites/yeticave;

Создана папка:
/Users/user/Sites/yeticave/index.php

Кажется, нужно привести в соответствие

В мануале пропущен шаг запуска php
sudo brew services start php
