Как понять синтаксис mySQL «KEY `node_type` (`type`(4))»?

Я сдампил таблицу нод друпала, хочу использовать её в своём проекте на Yii,

Ломаю голову что значат четверки в key ?

ну очевидно же, что используются первые 4 символа значения поля type
