Как сделать так, чтобы проекты инсталлились не на системном, а на дополнительном диске (npm i)?
Переустанавливал систему (Windows 10) и решил разбить диск.
Перенёс на дополнительный диск D:\ проекты без папок node_modules – в результате куча ошибок, пакеты не ставятся.
Сам же менеджер пакетов стоит на диске C:\Users\Vlad\AppData\Roaming\npm
Возможен ли сабж?
Ещё.. в консоли вначале вылетает сообщение, что проект был создан с помощью другой версии npm.
На обновлённой системе стоит 8.1.0. Может в этом дело?

Нет, ему пофиг на диски, он ставит всё в папку проекта.
Если ты пройдёшься по вопросам связанным с npm тут(любым) - окажется что проблема в половине случаев - использование "самой новой" версии node js, которую поддерживают чуть менее чем никто.
Твой случай тот же самый. Всегда ставь lts версию node и всё будет (в основном) работать.
Поставил lts https://nodejs.org/en/download/
Инсталлирую проекты –и снова куча ошибок.
И главное, что папка node_modules создаётся и начинают ставится какие-то пакеты, а потом папка удаляется.
Лог очень большой (6312 строк).
Так это надо было раньше с lts создавать проекты что-ли?
А теперь что делать то? ☹☹☹ Проекты то запустить надо!
Влад, не твоя проблема, а моя, что я оттелепатил твою версию как 17 на основе npm@8 который используется также и в 16. Но судя по тому что ты переставил node, я не ошибся.
А теперь, если хочешь чтоб тебе помогли, дай нам кусок хоть какой-нибудь конкретной инфы по твоей проблеме, кроме причитаний "всё пропало, что же делать!!!1111". Надоел, честно.

По первому варианту (на на node js 14.18.1 пока не откатывал).
В общем, сборка компиллится норм, но вот эти все ворнинги дико смущают.

Влад, ворнинги npm не страшны, уязвимости в пакетах которые используются для билда, а сам себя ты ломать не будешь. Ворнинги sass тоже не страшны, node-sass не будет обновляться и не будет менять / на math.div(охрененное решение, sass, молодцы, очень удобно), так что если ты не собираешься переходить на dart-sass то можно их просто заткнуть.
Aetae, забыл написать. Ещё я пробовал обновить до последней версии все пакеты проекта, однако что-то там в пакете gulp-imagemin ему не понравилось. require() перестал поддерживать, а на import тоже ругается (SyntaxError: Cannot use import statement outside a module) https://www.npmjs.com/package/gulp-imagemin

Aetae, Кстати, а как заткнуть sass-ворнинги? Именно ворнинги только по sass. А то неприятно как-то это. Я же не буду все / переписывать на манер math.div(20em, 16), тем более в сторонних библиотеках.

Именно когда я тыкнул по ссылке - github упал, так что не знаю что там пишут, но всегда есть вариант фильтровать логи.)
Для webpack есть спец настройка и плагин на случай если оная не сработает.)
Для gulp - хз, беглый гугл показал что вроде можно можно либо тупо подменить console.log либо gulp-util.log, но не пробовал.
Question:
We're using gulp-sass package that is only a wrapper for node-sass.
We encounter lots of deprecation warnings like:
DEPRECATION WARNING: Passing a string to call() is deprecated and will be illegal
in Sass 4.0. Use call(get-function("variable-exists")) instead.
This is a valid warning and is related to an old version of Susy Grid. But it is extremely annoying during our development process because it produces hundreds of warnings on each execution of the Sass task.
It would be really great to be able to disable these warnings somehow. Or at least show them only once and not on each execution.
Is there a chance to do that or do you already plan to update this behavior?

Answer:
There's no way for the compiler to differentiate between code you own and code you don't.
These deprecation warnings are important. They're telling you that your code will cease to work very soon, and you should take steps to resolve the warnings asap.
If it's code you don't control then we recommend opening issues on the code's repo, or submitting a PR to resolve the warnings.
There is simply no way to disable these warning. If you don't want to see them I suggest downgrading to an older version of Sass and never updating again.
