Проблему решила. Извинюсь, что оперативно не разместила решение.
в main.js добавляются следующие строки:

А решение совсем простое...нужно в родительском и дочернем компоненте обернуть connect в withRouter (https://reacttraining.com/react-router/core/guides...
Как я могла только забыть про это...
